Ten of My Favorite Disney Characters

Heyo cheerios! This is an idea I stole from a wonderful bean named Ellie, because I’m a blockhead and I can’t come up with my own ideas. I really am.

#1 Flynn Rider

This guy the ultimate sarcastic rebel. He’s got charm, sass and good looks.

Um, yes.

Flynn is kinda selfish at first, and his good, caring side doesn’t come out till later. He’s really a hopeless romantic.

Tangled is EASILY my favorite Disney movie. Ever.

Fun fact: There was an eight year age gap between Flynn and Rapunzel, making them the farthest apart in age Disney couple.

#2 Rapunzel

What can I say?

She’s definitely my favorite Disney Princess. She’s sweet and loving, but she’s still got spunk. xD

Me when I’m alone talking to myself and I hear something.

Fun fact: Rapunzel’s hair is 70 feet long.

#3 Riley Poole

The gem of awkward sidekicks, Riley from National Treasure is just about the funniest you can get. I mean, he says the stupidest things sometimes, and he’s awkward and yeah. Basically me. BUT, he does randomly provide crucial information, so he’s not entirely useless. Oh, and he’s the techie computer guy, so they actually really need him. xD

You should really watch this movie, it’s great. πŸ˜€

Fun fact: When Riley, at the end of the movie, says he got a measly one half percent of the treasure money. If Benjamin Franklin Gates’ earlier estimate back in the church with Sadusky of ten billion dollars is accurate, Riley would have made fifty million dollars. #mindblown

#4 Remy

A cooking rat. JUST what I need, because trust me, if you can get Remy to cook for you, you’re rich! He’s just a little guy wanting to eat and cook real delicious food, instead of eating garbage like the rest of the rats. He’s determined and smart, but there’s an evil human after him! HELP MEEEEEEEEE!

Fun fact: I used to think that Ratatouille was actually Remy’s name. xD

#5 Tadashi

Okay, Tadashi is the best brother ever, I don’t care what you say. He’s gotten Hiro out of scrapes and been there for him like no one else. He’s the greatest, sweetest bro EVEEERRRR!

I don’t wanna spoil it for anyone who hasn’t seen Big Hero 6, but PEOPLE! Who agrees that it was the saddest thing ever when he died???? *cries* I cry every time. 😭

Fun fact: Baymax’s movement is based on penguins.

#6 Olaf

Olaf is just plain funny, okay. Plus, he’s adorable, but not necessarily in the physical way. He’s a great friend, a perfect sidekick, and provides sometimes deep, sometimes not-so-deep sentiments. πŸ˜€

Fun fact: Well before it was decided that Olaf would be a snowman, early concepts had him as a penguin! *dies* Can you imagine?

#7 Jack Sparrow

We shall all agree that he is a MOOD. Right there.

He’s hilarious… -ly cookoo.

Fun fact: The Black Pearl was created for Jack by Davy Jones.

#8 Genie

Whether it be the old or the new, I love them both! Such character! He’s the master of comic relief, but he’s a sweetie with a heart of gold.

Fun fact: The genie’s lamp can be found on the back of the treasure-hoarding crab in Moana.

#9 Beast

At first Beast is is harsh, unkind, and… well, beastly. πŸ˜› But then Belle softens him and they fall in looooovvvveee.

Fun fact: Dan Stevens, the actor for the beast in the live action remake, waltzed on stilts! Talk about skill. xD

#10 Eeyore

My poor, poor Eeyore. He’s always got bad things happening to him, and he just needs a big hug! He’s a depressed, pessimistic character, but a friendly dear who NEEDS love! *squishes him* I have a stuffed animal of him from way back, and you know what? He’s the only one I ever talked to like he was a living being (tell me I’m not the only one who did that…).

Fun fact: The name Eeyore is from the British/ English version of “hee-haw” At least, that’s what I read somewhere. xD

I just realized that the vast majority of these characters are male and comedic. That’s funny. πŸ˜› Wow, my explanations for these characters are l a m e.

Well! You just got your daily dose of gifs. πŸ˜‰ I hope my cheerios have enjoyed this post!

Who are some of your favorite Disney characters? Who is your favorite Disney princess? Comedic or serious characters? Which of the fun facts surprised you the most?

Honestly, these picks are the best of the best. (Also, it’s nice to see someone who loves Olaf!!! Apparently I found out that a lot of people hate him??? I seriously LOVED that guy. He makes me laugh to an unfunny degree πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚)
    This was wonderful.

*ahem* Anyway, I’m a Pixar gal so I appreciated your choice, hahah. And Ratatouille was my favorite childhood movie so Remy is kind of close to my heart. XD

I liked your other choices too but I haven’t seen those movies enough to have an opinion. πŸ˜› (I know — I’m a terrible human)

  3. Honestly, if Flynn, Genie, Jack Sparrow, and Olaf weren’t on here I would have been so sad. I love all of these characters so much. πŸ˜› This is honestly one of my favorite posts EVER. It’s funny, my Mom/me/sister always decide which characters we are in movies. My mom is Jack Sparrow, sis is Will, and I’m Elizabeth. And I’m also Riley from National Treasure. πŸ˜‚βœŒAnyway, good job! Loved it!!

  4. I’m not really a Disney princess type person but I can tell you listening to the Disney radio while babysitting, Tangled’s soundtrack is more my thing than Frozen. πŸ˜†
I’ve heard so much about Big Hero 6 I’m not sure I ever want to see it. 😭
I’m totally a Pixar fan, rather than just Disney. *ducks* So with that said my unpopular favorite character is Lightning McQueen. EVERYBODY FORGETS HOW SOFT MY HOTSHOT CAN BE.
I should do this tag sometime…

    1. I was never really the princess-y type either. πŸ™‚ I agree though! Tangled’s soundtrack is so great.
😭But you must anyway! It’s such a good movie, even though it breaks my heart!
Pixar is good too! Although I’m a more Disney person, I like Pixar a lot (although I never did like Cars *now’s my turn to duck*)!
Haha, you should! Although it’s not really a tag. πŸ˜› πŸ˜€

  5. Yessss!! Tangled is one of my all time favorite movies. XD I have never seen “National Treasure,” but it looks really good!! To answer your questions: Some of my favorite Disney characters are, Cinderella, Merida, and Merida’s little brothers. XD My favorite Disney princess is Rapunzel! Comedic characters who can also be serious are my favorite. πŸ˜› The fun fact that surprised me the most was, “The name Eeyore is from the British/ English version of β€œhee-haw!” Awesome post!! πŸ˜€

    1. Great! Tangled is possibly one of the best movies EVER. *folds arms* Ahhh, I love Brave. xD Comedic *and* serious characters? I agree. πŸ™‚ πŸ˜€ That fact surprised me too! I was always super confused before I knew WHY he was named Eeyore. πŸ˜›
      Thanks! ❀

  6. ahhh, these picks are literally some of the best. ahhh, i love flynn sm. and yeeee tadashi is one awesome big brother and when he died i cried BUCKET loads of tears. woah, was baymaxs movement really based on penguins?! for some reason, i thought it was based off a baby in a dirty diaper, idk where i read that lol. and i love jack sparrow SOOO much – he’s so funny

    1. AGH I CAN’T WHY DID HE HAVE TO DIEEEEEE???? I cried boatloads. πŸ˜‰ Actually, you’ve got something there! I believe I read that his movement was penguins *and* a baby in a dirty diaper, so we’re both right! πŸ˜€ Right though? He’s just the best.

  7. Oh, my, gosh! *Finally* someone else who loves the Beast! He’s so cute, and adorable, and awkward, and yesss!! Seriously, I think he’s my absolute favorite Disney character. Even though it was great that he became a human again, and his spell was broken, I would have preferred him to stay a beast. The rest of the movie was fine, but the Beast made the movie worthwhile… *blushes, suddenly shy*
Rant over. My favorite princess would have to be Belle (no surprises there!). She’s smart, she loves books, she’s practical but also romantic, and she can take care of herself. Her personality matches mine the best. Also, she and Beast are the *perfect* couple!
Other favorite Disney characters are Simba from Lion King, Darth Vader from Star Wars, WallE from his own movie, Cheshire Cat from Alice and Wonderland (animated version), and Peter Pan from his own movie. I’m *definitely* a classic Disney and Pixar girl! ^^
The fact that surprised me the most was the 8 year age gap between Flynn and Rapunzel. I had no idea they were so far apart in age! Definitely going to have to rewatch that movie again!

    1. Yeeeeeeessssssssss! He’s just a big, lovable goof most of the time. I agree! He was better as the Beast. πŸ™‚ Awww, Wall- E is the cutest piece of machinery in existence! ❀ All his little noises and the way he collects things- so adorable. I know, I found that out a few years ago, and I was "whaaaaa?" xD Thanks for commenting!

  8. Oh yes!!! My favorite Disney movie probably is Tangled because I am told I both look and act like Rapunzel ( though my hair is not quite that long πŸ˜‚). Great post idea!

  9. Aaah, I LOVE THIS POST!! Awesome picks.
TANGLED YESSSSS. Flynn and Rapunzel are one of my favorite Disney couples EVERRRR. So cute. πŸ™‚
TADASHI. *cries* He is the sweetest big brother.
    Olaf is hilarious and amazing.
Beast! Belle is definitely my favorite Disney character, but I also love Beast. (And Beauty and the Beast is my favorite Disney movie, so…:) )
I have not seen National Treasure yet, but soon! Soon! πŸ™‚
GENIE. GENIE GENIE GENIE. Aladdin is my second favorite Disney movie (though not by much), and how can you not love that hilarious “smoking blue giant?” πŸ˜‰
I have not seen Pirates of the Caribbean either, but many of my friends like it.

*high fives* YES! They’re just the best ever. ❀ ❀
      Hahahaha right?
Despite how much I can relate to her, she's not my fav, but she's up there! I love how much she loves books. πŸ˜›πŸ˜ƒ
Ahhhh I love Aladdin. I didn't actually see it till later in life (LOL I'm so old), but I love it! The second was… meh.
You should definitely see it sometime. πŸ˜‰ Thanks for this awesome comment!
